My story
Happy 14th Birthday to Jake on 2nd March (Day before our Nuts Challenge in Dorking)…
Jake is my special cousin and he’s Charlie and Ben’s brother, he suffers from a very rare brain disease called AADC deficiency. For 14 years he’s been involved with his own personal challenges, battling with this disease. We are raising as much money as possible to help fund AADC research to aid Jake and all children in the World suffering the same life-threatening condition. To do this we’ve decided to take up the Nuts Challenge in Dorking and persuaded mates; Niko Vijay, Jordan Bobb, James Keable and Tony Ledgerton to join us .
So…on 3rd March we will all complete 2 laps of the Nuts Adventure Race Course…Total of 14km. This is one of the most challenging army assault courses out there and was originally designed by personnel from the British Special Forces to push the individual to the limit.
So you know about Jake’s challenge, we’ve shared with you our challenge and now your challenge is to sponsor us any amount (large or small) and help us fund AADC Research!
Photographic proof will be provided for those doubting our extreme combined physical strength, our collective powerful psychological determination and for those who simply won’t believe how prepared we are to get freezing cold, wet and muddy with completely messed up hair!

Charity Registration No. 1114367
AADC deficiency is a rare disabling brain disease. Only 100 children spanning 26 countries have been identified with the disease. It's proved fatal for 10 of them. The AADC Research Trust is a children's charity funding research, supporting affected families and promoting global disease awareness.
