Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page (Also take a look at our 'Team Page' to see overall total!)

In April we lost our courageous Anna following her brave fight against brain tumours. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help prevent other individuals and their families from going through this incredible loss.

Whilst being 30 our aim is to fundraise enough money for a days research for Brain Tumour Research, £2740 - Amazingly we reached this goal in 5 months! So we're now seeing if we can manage 2 days research!

We aim to achieve this by completing 30 fundraising challenges, events or activities. These may be small challenges; large challenges; individual events or group challenges that we encourage anyone who wants to help us support Brain Tumour Research to join in.

Thank you to everyone who has joined Team Anna to help us raise evenmore money for this incredible cause, fundraisers who are raising money using Team Anna 30:30 Justgiving page include:

David, Tom, Ian and Joel Bent, Martin and Louise who are joining Nick and myself (Rachel) for the 3 peaks challenge on June 5-6th, with support from Helen Bent!

Mother Bent (Helen) is also rapidly completing the Lands End - John O'Groats  cumulative year walking challenge (874 miles over the year!)

New Years Day dippers, including Jon Perrin, Jodie Frankis, Angie Weston, Matt Smith and Jo Morrison

Cliona McRobert, with her Lands end to John O'Groats cumulative Cycle (874 miles)

Jodie Frankis joining us on the Great North Run, North Sea New Year dip and a number of fundraisers and runs over the year

Others involved in Team Anna challenges include:

Kingsgate Community Church who have been supporting and hosting many of the challenges, including the Craft Fayre, 24 hour team cycle (in March), Wear a hat day coffee morning (March)

Alice Kirk joining us on the Great North Run, and a number of fundraisers and runs over the year

Michelle Warren joining us walking John O'Groats to lands end over the year, as well as initiating 'Coppers from Coppers' collecting at GY and Gorleston Police Stations

Chris Bullock for joining us on our 'Norfolk Parkrun' challenge; Marriots Way Cycle challenge, and no doubt other challenges

Brain Tumours kill more young people than any other form of cancer and yet research in the disease is seriously underfunded. Brain Tumour Research was set up to fundraise and campaign for progression in how these tumours are treated, we want to support them with this amazing work.
