CARE Three Peaks UK 9th - 10th June · 9 June 2007 ·

CARE International is a humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

Story

For the un-initiated, the Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours. The event will take place on the weekend of 9th–10th June 2007, starting on the Saturday afternoon at the foot of Ben Nevis in Scotland, moving overnight to Scafell Pike in the Lake District, and then finally on to Snowdon in North Wales.

Team Auros will include 6 walkers and a support crew (drivers, medics, cooks, priests etc) to help them during the challenge. Training for the big day is already in progress.

Thank you for visiting the Team Auros fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Team Auros: CARE International UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
