London Bikeathon · 26 January 2009

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Welcome to Team Bizarre's fundraising page.

Your money means a lot to us and the people and leukaemia research, so please give generously.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Welcome to Team Bizarre's Bikeathon Page! If you fancy getting nice and fit before the summer and haven't quite kept to those new years resolutions, then this might just be the event you've been looking for! The London Bikeathon is a fun day out with friends, cycling through some of the nicest parts of our city to raise monkey for leukaemia research. Last year we were very very close to our target of £1,000, this year I hope we can go right over it! Entrance is only £5 per person if we get a team of 10 or more. For your money you'll get a T-Shirt, refreshments on the day, and a shiny medal on completion! 2 of our brave team did the 26 miles on BMX bikes last year, so any kind of bike will be welcomed into our team. Please note, THIS IS NOT A RACE!!! It's a fun day out with friends, we all wait for each other and no one gets left behind, if you want to bring your kids they are more then welcome! Please feel free to invite your friends, the more the merrier!! P.s. Going on an absynth binge the night before is probaly not the best idea....Although he still finished the course, what a trouper!! ;) My Facebook event page is here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=50600500950
