Please help me raise as much as I can for this amazing hospital, who are currently treating and supporting me through breast cancer.

Back in early November my nephew Freddy was climbing all over me as 3yr olds do, but this particular time he made me wince and few days later I still felt a twinge and said "I think Freddy caught me funny other day, it still niggles". Whilst saying this I rubbed my hand across the place and felt a lump.. after a few more days it seemed to be more obvious in feel and look so first thing Monday 15th I saw my GP and by the next day she had referred me to hospital for full breast screening for the following week, where they saw enough to then do biopsy immediately.. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 30th Nov and was in hospital on 29th Dec for the surgery.. and was told at the follow up two weeks later that during the surgery to remove the cancerous lump, they also tested my Lymph Nodes (under arm) and discover the first 2 also tested positive for cancer, so they proceeded to do a full node clearance and following tests the diagnosis was in fact Stage 2 and advised i will be needing over 6 months of Chemo & Radio Therapy. 

I am now under the watchful eye of Oncology Outpatients at Weston Park Hospital for the next few months having chemotherapy with radiotherapy to follow. I've been in and out more than my fair share, with a few unplanned visits outside of my regular appointments due to neutropenia and infection.. but I can't praise the doctors and nurses enough in how they have treated and supported me so far and I want to do my bit to show my appreciation by raising funds for their Beyond the treatment campaign: www.beyondthetreatment.org.uk
