My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

The Mac4x4 challenge is, in basic terms, a huge navigation exercise and fun time for us fools who like to drive off road! The Mac4x4 challenge has raised over £149,000 for Macmillan Cancer support since it was first held in 2002 and is growing in both numbers and fund raising each year.

The event is split over the weekend of the 10 - 11th March and the competitors will spend pretty much the whole weekend driving around on and off road trying to collect set navigational points. Last year the Mac4x4 "did" Wales and even popped over to Ireland. The thought of spending an entire weekend in the car might not sound particularly exciting to many of you, but it is for charity ! Why not have a look at http://www.mac4x4.co.uk/index.htm.

As you can see we have space on the side of the Land Rover to put a company logo if you wish. How ever we would ask that you give a bit more if you would like this to happen.

 A bit about us....

 Driver: Terry Dennis

A very experienced off-road driver he has been involved with competition driving for many years and he also enjoys off-road driving as a hobby. Has had countless vehicles in one state or another but nothing quite like this one, well at least not for now......

 Navigator:  James Brackenbury

I have been driving off road for over 10 years now and I am only 19. I have competed in many types of events but non that have been for such a good charity. Has his own Land Rover that has been used for competitons and for greenlaning trips.

The Truck

Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 'chipped', has been heavily modified with a extreme suspension kit, snorkel for water wading, extreme mud tyres, trip computer, locking diffs front and back, and has been fitted with a roll cage for safety with racing seats and harnesses, lots of extra lighting, waffle boards, tree and rock sliders, and a hydraulic winch on the front, with an electric on the rear. Has even got 132.5 inches of articulation

As you can see we have got ourselves ready for the event,

We are both really looking forward to this event and hope for your support

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Terry & James
