Story
Thank you so much for visiting our JustGiving page.
On 24/10/10, we are running in the Great South Run, which is 10 miles around Portsmouth. We are aiming to raise as much money as we can for the 'Banana Army' - Leukaemia Research http://www.banana-army.com/en/1/banarmhome.html
We are running in memory of our amazing unversity friend and housemate, Tom Chantry. Tom died after being diagnosed with leukaemia two days earlier on November 18, 2009. He had turned 21 only a couple of months earlier.
Tom was a wonderful friend and his suffering and sudden death were a real shock for his family and friends, who still miss him. Leukaemia Research work tirelessly to try to develop ways of preventing this tragedy from repeating itself - please help them by supporting us.
You can contact us or sponsor us directly through this site. Donating through JustGiving is easy and totally secure - JG won't sell your details on or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives - often more than once. That statistic is continuing to grow and in our lifetime we are likely to see this figure become 'everyone' - unless we find a cure. PLEASE support the invaluable work done by this charity.
Thank you.
Lots of love,
Nina, Ross, Simon and Izzy.
