My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The 50/50/50 Challenge aims to raise £50,000 through fifty teams running 50 miles in one day, raising money for the new development at the School of Oncology at The Christie.

The Christie shares its expertise in cancer care through The Christie School of Oncology, a unique facility which offers education and training in all aspects of cancer research, treatment and care, within The Christie, across the cancer network and throughout the UK. Courses are delivered by Christie specialists and experts from key higher education partner organisations.

In order to build on The Christie's success and enable us to take the next step towards the vision of being a world class centre of education for the cancer specialists of the future, we need to expand and improve the existing teaching facilities at The Christie.

This unique team event gives us the opportunity to raise funds for this development and help patients and families both now and in the future. We are not only aiming to complete the 50 miles together as a relay during the day, but we've been challenged for a podium position - your support would give us additional motivation.
