Abseil Challenge 2005 - Bobby Moore Fund · 3 February 2005 ·

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

On the 4th February 2005, Glenn Poulter, Paul Corbett, Tina Petts and Maria Petts 'dared to dangle' by abseiling 210ft down the London Underwriting Centre's spectacular glass atrium.

All the money raised will go to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK, in memory of sporting legend Bobby Moore OBE.

In the UK, 45 people die every day of bowel cancer, so please help us make a difference and change this truly dreadful statistic.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
Best wishes
Glenn, Paul, Tina & Maria
