Drove her at night for the second time only today - glad to see my work on the electrics has paid off - I could see the road and everything!!
Robin and Emma have managed to secure a place on the Mac4x4 Challenge 2011 - the 10th anniversary of the event. Last year, the event managed to raise over £120,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support - let's try to smash that in 2011! We have a chance to raise the grand total for the event to £3/4million!!

The 2011 event will be slightly different for us - we are no longer using a Land Rover but have acquired a Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer 710K High Mobility All Terrain Vehicle (Pinz for short!). This is an incredibly capable off-road machine, although the road manners are not as polite as the Defender (and the fuel consumption does not bear printing). Please note, however, all costs associated with the event, including fuel, are met by the team - all money donated here goes to MacMillan Cancer Support
