We work with the world’s poorest children to help them build a better future.

Story

A UNIGLOBE British Isles team is taking on the challenge of conquering the African giant, , as part of a bid to raise £35,000 for charity.

15 Volunteers will be flying the flag for UNIGLOBE British Isles for the epic climb in September in aid of the charity Plan International and its aim of building a new school and residence for girls in . The adventure will begin on September 6 when the UNIGLOBE team flies from Heathrow to prepare for the ascent.

Plan International’s Because I Am A Girl campaign recognises the important role girls play in helping communities around the world break the cycle of poverty. Education is a key element; in fact an extra year of primary school boosts girls’ wages by 10 to 20 percent, benefitting their communities, their families and eventually their children.

The figure shown here is the group total raised by the 15 volunteers plus team donations: THEY MADE IT. So Please continue to donate and help us reach the other target.
