NEWS JUST IN: WE DID IT! In 23 hours and 20 minutes! We had a whole range of weather - heavy wind, rain and then bright sunshine for the last mountain. The pins are a little stiff and we have midge bites in very unusual places, but we are feeling very proud of ourselves. We want to say a big thank you so much for all the support you have shown us and Sightsavers. Hello friend, we would be so appreciative if you might donate a few pennies (or alternatively MANY pennies) to us to do the Rotary Mountain Challenge on 28 June. We are going to climb three peaks (Stob Ban, Helvellyn and Snowdon) in 24 hours for the brilliant charity Sightsavers who help hundreds of thousands of people in developing countries to see again. And if they can't get people their sight back, they help them to live life. Just reading about Sightsavers' incredible work had all the girls in tears. (It had all the boys in tears too, but they pretended they had colds.) So please sponsor us now! We will think you are great forever more. And so will all those people to whom you give the gift of sight.
Team "Don't Peak Too Soon" (Let's hope we don't.) The technical and reassuring bit footnote: Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
