Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

This started nearly a year ago. I refused to get on a bike - 'it's far too hilly round here, and the roads are really busy' - and Ange refused to let me get away with that.

Long story short, 6 months later we signed up for 52 miles of cycling from London to Brighton. Dylan makes hills look easy, and never seems to be working hard at all. Ange is super-woman, and possibly the fittest human being I know. Gavin is unfazed by hills or distance, and Steve is an exercise fiend. I'm the weak & slow link - but I swear about hills a lot less than I used to!

If I make it to Brighton, it will be largely down to the patience and encouragement of the rest of the team - so thanks to them, and thanks to anyone who sponsors us - the Heart Foundation is a worthy cause, obviously!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, come and cheer us on!

Thanks

Nicki, Ange, Dylan, Gavin and Steve
