My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We have decided to swim 22 miles which is equivalent to swimming the English Channel! The reason we are doing this is because Diabetes UK do great work and because our 7 year old son/grandson/nephew is a type 1 diabetic. We first discovered this on his first Christmas which came as a HUGE shock. Since then its been difficult coping with this but Ellis is VERY brave and has his BM taking 4 times a day along with insulin 4 times a day!! We would love to raise as much as possible so please help us out....

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly as to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
