Thats right....
On 18th June Tim, Jack and I will be taking on the unlikely challenge of swimming, cycling and running/walking, around Anglesey and up Snowdon. Yes a triathlon.....comprising…
1km swim in the freezing Irish Sea,
55km cycle across hilly Anglesey and into the Snowdonian Mountain Range
and a 7km run up Mount Snowdon.
It's going to be a huge challenge but immensely rewarding and raising money for some great causes that support young people in North Wales and London.
Ty Gobaith Hope House (hopehouse.org.uk) is currently caring for more than 320 terminally ill children and their families in North Wales.
The Frank Haines Memorial Trust (frankhaines.com) provides a critical means of support, education and opportunity for young people in Tower Hamlets, who otherwise have precious few prospects in life.
The charities are both extremely deserving of all the help they can get, and all of your donations will be split equally between the two.
So please support our madness and reward these charities with as little or as much as you like.
The event is kindly sponsored by Holyhead and Mawddach Rotary, whose help with setting up and preparation has been invaluable.
Thanks
Ed, Tim and Jack
