Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Team 'Holding On' JustGiving page for the 2010 Cycle 4 Cynthia 50 mile bike ride.

Here's some info from the Cycle 4 Cynthia website:

"Cycle4Cynthia, Northamptonshire's annual charity cycle ride, is back for the sixth year running - with cyclists and sponsorship expected to reach a record high thanks to new support from Northampton's Saints.

The event - which raises money for two charities, which provide care, and support for people with terminal illness in Northamptonshire, The Friends of Cynthia Spencer Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support - is scheduled for Sunday, September 26th."

Team holding on are a group of Saints supporting friends who also like a bit of a bike ride. Our splendid team jerseys were designed by Jim and were the envy of many at the recent Silverstone circuit Mac Ride including Bruce Reihana pictured with us.

This year Cycle 4 Cynthia is even more significant for me (Richard Lindsley,) as my mother in law, Lesley, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. I like to think that doing the ride and raising money for these charities is our way of helping the fight against this hideous disease.
