We are running for Team Jackie, who have, over the last three years, raised £236K for Pancreatic Cancer Research through mainly 'running' Bath and Cardiff Half Marathons, mostly with people who have never run before. We would love to get to £250K this year and to continue to raise awareness of this cruel disease .  There will be 50 people running as part of Team Jackie through the streets of Cardiff in the distinctive red and yellow t-shirts .  Look out for us and give us a cheer on the day or please sponsor us - every little helps..

Why donate specifically to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund?  Pancreatic cancer is known as the silent killer. By the time it is diagnosed it is usually too late and 90% of people will be told that they are terminally ill and given 6-12 months to live. It has the worst survival rate of any common cancer – only 3 in every 100 people diagnosed will live for 5 years and this figure has not improved in 40 years.  Pancreatic cancer is the UK’s 5th biggest cancer killer yet receives only 1% of overall research funding.
