Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please sponsor our family team online to run the London Marathon dressed as characters from Star Wars. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support. Thanks to everyone who has sponsored us so far - we have now completed the marathon. It was a great day with a real high running across Tower Bridge with so many people cheering for us. Despite a knee injury we stuck together as a team and all made it round in five and a half hours.  We are still pushing to reach our target so let your friends know too. Thanks again.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
