Walk the Wight 2008 · 11 January 2008

Mountbatten is the Isle of Wight's only hospice and is known for innovation across the UK and beyond. We provide expert medical, nursing and domiciliary end of life care and bereavement support to people in their own homes, including care homes, in our Newport building and in the local hospital.

Story

Team Jeremy plan to tackle Walk the Wight 2008 - www.walkthewight.org.uk - a 26.5-mile trek across the breadth of the Isle of Wight, on May 18.

All the money we raise will go to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, which cared for Jeremy Price, who died of a brain tumour last year.

Jeremy was a brave, talented and very funny reporter we all worked with at the Gazette newspaper in Colchester - that's his picture to the left.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Earl Mountbatten Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
