Barmy to Barcelona 2009 · 27 April 2009

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity provides comprehensive and high-quality care for local people with life-limiting illnesses wherever and whenever they need it. We support their loved ones and carers through the toughest of times. We help families make the most of every day together.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

At the start of July 2009, we will be taking part in Wacky Rally's 'Barmy to Barcelona' - a 1500 mile banger rally, from Lille to Barcelona (via Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Monaco), all in a car that cost us £150. Over 70 cars (teams) will take part in the rally, all of which will be decorated or themed in some way - our car (a 1991 Honda Prelude) will be transformed into Lightening McQueen from the film Cars.

Everything you donate through this site will go directly to our chosen charity, the Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury. This year, the hospice marks 20 years of providing first class care, free of charge, to both children and adults with a life-limiting illness. We personally know people who have been cared for at the hospice and would like to recognise the continued hard work of all of the staff and volunteers alike.

Please help us to reach our target of £2000 by giving whatever you can. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
