We offer life changing opportunities to disadvantaged youth and disabled adults

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Mums Away! JustGiving page.

We did it!

We rowed the English Channel in two fixed-seat rowing boats last July. It was a life-changing experience inspired by The AHOY Centre, a charity in Deptford which works with young people and disabled people to give life opportunities through sailing and rowing.

Our fundraising activities were fun, successful and helped us bond as a team. Friends, family, colleagues, people from all corners of our lives supported our events. Thank you – just look at what we all achieved together – £44,115.95.

If you happen to be here because you still want to give, please do! We can take donations till 28 October before the page closes and our year of challenges ends.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now to help The Ahoy Centre and the Mums Away! Cross Channel Row 2013
