Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Pip was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma on 20th December 2011 at just 15 weeks old. This is a rare childhood cancer that effects around 60 children in the uk every year and around 3000 children are diagnosed with a form of cancer in the uk each year. Without constant reasearch and studies her chances of survival would be very low but thanks to the work of such charities like NECCR our children are beating cancers such as Philippas. We are very lucky to have excellent facilities on our door step and we need to continue to make sure this remains for years to come.

Pip is half way through her treatment (almost) and with our friends we would like to give something back. Please help us to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause. Every penny counts.

About the charity

The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.
