Team Proton’s Banger Rally

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page - we're doing our very own Banger Rally in April in a 1991 Malaysian banger (Proton) and will be travelling from Guildford, Surrey to Milan, Italy and back!

We will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer has unfortunately affected our family recently, so raising money for Macmillan is something we are excited and willing to do. With all your kind donations, we are helping Macmillan find results and medicines to cure people from cancer.

All in all we will be covering around 1,700 miles in a car that was donated to us for free - thanks to Ali at 'UK Spec Proton'. We will be covering pretty much the entire length of France, passing through Switzerland, travelling through the Alps and then arriving in Milan. Not to mention the fact we will be stopping off in Paris on the route back. Quite a journey for the Proton.. let’s hope it makes it!

The Proton itself was SORN and had been sat for a good few years, but with the help of 'UK Spec Proton', a few local mechanic's and garages we are determined to get it “Banger Rally” ready.
