Well here we are again!! We once again decided to take part in the Manchester 10k to help raise money for the new children's hospital, only this year we have a new team member!! Welcome Grandad aka Lance Bossom.
For those of you who don't know the children's hospital was our second home over the year of 2006 as our daughter Lizzie underwent treatment for cancer. We had some bad times and some great times!! This is all down to the amazing hard work of the staff and the unbelievable courage of the children.
Lizzie is still going to Pendlebury every 4 months for check-up's and she is doing really well. She is a very healthy, mischevious little girl. She is definately making up for lost time, which keeps us on our toes. It has been 3 years since Lizzie finished her Chemotherapy and you will be pleased to know she will be starting school in September!!
Seeing the dedication of the staff to make the whole cancer experience a positive one has made us want to give something back. The new hospital really needs funding to make it as special as Pendlebury and we are really grateful for your support in helping us to say thank you to all on Borchardt!! (Cancer Ward).
Please help us to say Thank-you in the best way we know how and dig deep!!
