Hi Everyone!
A group of us will aim to run 10K (a long way for many of us that have never really run before!) on the 3rd July 2011. We need you to donate anything you can to help the good work of a charity called The Manitha Neyam Trust.
Even though the troubles in Sri Lanka are largely over, many innocent civilians were caught in the cross-fire and left to pick up the remaining pieces of their lives.
Manitha Neyam's projects involve helping homeless orphans, providing schools to mentally disabled children, providing medical help for the blind, providing financial assistance for those who are trying to put themselves through education whilst supporting a family. These are just a few of many projects that are helping the people of Sri Lanka recover from the trauma of years of war.
Manitha Neyam is not a politically motivated charity, funds are used to help all that are in need.
So please give what you can, we really appreciate your support.

The Manitha Neyam Trust commenced operations in 1999 to provide charitable and social services to the less privileged and is registered as an approved charity by the Ministry of Social Services in Sri Lanka. The trust has offices in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada
