The race now completed and the results on an official athletics page (Abergele Harriers) means that the 6 Muskateers (love the spelling !) can rest easy and allow the muscles to relax a little. We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation and to everyone's support on the day. Its just amazing as to how much was collectively raised and with my employer matching the amount raised on a £ for £ basis means that we have raised over £2,800!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

With Christmas taking its toll on the combined waist lines of the team what better way to lose some of the excess weight by doing something good for a local cause than hitting the road on a 10k race from Llandudno Pier to Colwyn Bay Pier.
Training has now started in earnest and the 6 Muskateers will be embarking on their run on 21st January 2012. The big question is when will they finish??!! (ie which day....?!)
We have chosen to raise money for the local charity of St Kentigerns Hospice (www.stkentigernhospice.org) which as with all charities is a great cause and much appreciated facility for those in active, progressive or advanced illness providing much needed support for the individual as well as their families.
