Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
We met our first years target of £10,000 after 5 months. Thank you to everyone for supporting us and ultimately Epilepsy Bereaved.
This year Charlie would be 11 years old so we have now added another £11,000 to the target total for 2013. Let the fundraising begin again!

Charlie was unexpectedly born on the 4th October 2001 and died so unexpectedly and in such cruel circumstances on the 11th October 2011.
However, he did more in his short lifetime than most people do in a full lifetime. He pointed to the ‘Barney’ star in Cyprus (the brightest star in the sky), drank milk from a whole coconut on a beach in Malindi, had lunch half way up the Eiffel tower, posed as an Emperor outside the Coliseum, paddled a canoe in Antigua, and was ‘knighted’ at Warwick Castle.
He was such a happy boy and gave so much joy and happiness to all he came into contact with, and immense pride to his close family. Charlie loved being outdoors, playing with his friends, loved playing on his electronic ‘gismos’ and especially loved constructing and playing with his Star Wars Lego (May the force stay with you Charlie!).
He had an insatiable appetite for learning, whether this was about the Romans, dinosaurs, volcanoes, Tudors or a myriad of other subjects, and an healthy appetite for food, never being content with a child’s portion, almost from birth, and loving his Chinese Spare Ribs, which he affectionately referred to as ‘bones’.
Charlie loved most sports, especially rugby and football but his greatest love was motor racing. Even though his hero was Lewis Hamilton, he knew the makeup of every single racing team in finite detail.
He was mischievous, sometimes naughty and had a wicked sense of humor. He was a boy through and through. He was also very sensitive and extremely thoughtful and warmed the hearts of all those that met him.
So please dig deep and donate now.
