MoneySpinners – the cycling fundraiser founded by financial services executives to help raise money for great causes.
So far MoneySpinners has raised a whopping £202,000 for great causes, from Naomi House Children's hospice to MacMillan Nurses.
This year we are supporting The Alzheimer's Society, leading the fight against dementia. Your generosity in helping us to help people to live well with it, and contribute to funding research into a future cure is hugely appreciated. Thank you!
The MoneySpinners peleton will depart Paris on September 2nd to embark upon a challenging journey of 949 kms to Pauillac in the Medoc, Bordeaux.
Here’s some more MoneySpinners history:
In 2009, born again rouleurs Keith Carby and Anthony Thomson came up with the idea of inviting a group of like-minded executives from the financial services industry to take part in one of life's great challenges - to cycle the length of Great Britain and to raise money for worthy causes.
In September 2009, the inaugural MoneySpinners event took place. The Peleton covered 1000 miles in 10 days from Lands End to John O'Groats.
Then a year later in September 2010, a new peleton covered 600 miles from the most easterly point of England to the most westerly point of Ireland.
Corporate sponsors:
MoneySpinners are looking to raise sponsorship through support from organisations linked to the financial services industry.
You can do this in many ways:
