Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for Ride Across Britain 2011. 953 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End in 9 days (11th -19th June 2011). During that time we will climb a total of 67,000 ft - more than twice the height of Mount Everest!
We are hoping to raise significant sums of money for three enormously worthwhile charities:

SNAP provides much-needed services for Essex families who have children and young people with special needs and disabilities.
Throughout the year over 400 families regularly receive hands-on support at The SNAP Centre and in total SNAP helps more than 1,500 families across Essex through its information services including a very busy telephone helpline.
Every £25 that Peter raises for SNAP will pay for an individual session at The SNAP Centre at which children and young people are supported during a variety of activities including the use of the fantastic multi-sensory room and the specialist IT suite.
Help! was formed to help the families and specifically the children of East Lanka affected by the devasting Tsunami of December 2004. Peter's son Will and his friends are helping progress a number of projects this summer. The Charity is run on an entirely voluntary basis so all of the money you donate will go directly to funding relief projects which include the refurbishment of the Amman girls orphanage and relocation of the "Little Flowers" School.
Ian is raising money for The Sarcoma Trust which works to raise awareness of these rare cancers, raise funding for research and helps support and inform sarcoma patients and their families. Cancer unfortunately affects far too many of us both directly and indirectly and Ian's Fund Raising page highlights two such experiences that explain why he is raising funds for this excellent cause.
