We're Running for Parliament...the Pensioners Parliament that is!
With an age span of 51 years, our team is running in the Belfast City Marathon on 6th May 2013 to raise money for Age Sector Platform, the charity responsible for the Northern Ireland Pensioners Parliament.
Age Sector Platform works to improve the lives of older people by engaging with older people to identify the areas of concern to them; and supporting projects which will tackle these concerns.
Leading our team is Ivan Baxter (73) who is a seasoned runner and by far the fittest of the lot! The rest of us are hoping to keep up with his pace!
