Thats exactly what 7 WOMEN have decided to do. Some people have called us insane, but you can call us Channêl No7.
We will be the first female only crew to row a 'Thames Waterman Cutter' from England to France. It's approximately 24miles or 33km. The current record is 3 hours which we intend to have a jolly good crack at - in for a penny and all that.
Along with our gym training we have got a 12 week 'on the water' training programme to follow and a minimum of £12,000 to raise for the AHOY charity. My calculator tells me that's £1,000 a week. Please give generously as it's for an excellent cause which we've seen first hand and truly believe in.
