Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page and helping us raise money for The Christie’s Young Oncology Unit.
We are hoping to raise £2,500 between us by taking on the challenge of completing a 10km obstacle course that includes running through fire and electrified obstacles.
Donations to this fund go directly to helping younger patients cope with cancer and cancer treatment by providing them with some of the nicer things in life e.g. art and music therapy sessions, pizza evenings on the ward, DVDs and computer games. The money also gets used to provide sporting activities such as tennis or gym sessions for young patients who are recovering from treatment to get them back to the level of fitness they had before diagnosis so it’s an extremely worthwhile cause.
