We have a forty strong team running in the Bristol Half Marathon on 11th September 2011 in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The team have a range of personal experiences with blood cancer and it includes people who are fighting blood cancer now or have a friend or relative who is.
When the charity began in 1960, childhood leukaemia was a virtual death sentence, now nine out of ten children with the most common form of this blood cancer survive. We are determined to develop new treatments so that the outlook is good even for those children who are hard to treat.
Thanks to you, our focus and expertise means that your money will be invested where it is most needed to ensure that every penny really makes a difference.
