Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, as most people are aware Brodie Harrison-Merritt sadly passed away on the 9th January 2015 after consuming the legal high ‘AMT’. We are certain that Brodie would have taken this drug confident that as it was legal it was safe which clearly isn’t the case.
We are now approaching the first anniversary of Brodie’s passing and whilst this is an extremely hard time we would like to take this opportunity to try and do something positive and help dispel this misconception that legal means safe.
For the month of January we are giving up alcohol, the money that we would have used to buy alcohol in this month we are donating to the ‘Angelus Foundation’ For £250 Angelus can visit a secondary school and provide all students (14-18) with the tools they need to make informed decisions about the harms from ‘legal highs’.
We would greatly appreciate any support that you can give us to help raise awareness and eliminate the illusion that legal means safe.
