When I initially came up with the idea of the six of us running non-stop from John 'o' Groats to Lands End they thought I'd lost my senses, and to be honest that is still the prevalent view. What swayed the rest of the team to join me in cloud cuckoo land was the worthiness and the work of the fantastic Charity that will benefit from the completion of the challenge.
