In memory of our dear friend Frida Zorzi who will be forever in our thoughts.
Frida was diagnosed with Lupus, an immune system illness, in 2006. Whilst she had been living with the disease for the last few years the complications and consequences of the disease were still hard to fathom and she especially struggled in the last six months of her life. No one ever thought her condition would be life threatening. Frida became seriously ill in July 2009 with the disease beginning to target her lungs. She spent a month in hospital fighting the disease but was beaten by her illness and passed away on 18th August 2009 at the age of 26.
Please help us in supporting Lupus UK, the only national charity supporting people with Lupus, so that we can try and raise awareness and help those who struggle with this life threatening disease.
