Thanks to the generosity of so many people I have now passed £2000 for my two chosen charities. the more funds raised the bigger difference we can make to so many people's life's. Thank you!
On September 21st I completed my ride, covering 930 miles in ten days. The weather wasn't always favourable, with strong winds from the North West and rain driving in our faces. The journey started on a damp misty morning at Land's End and finished ten days later on a dry day at John O'Groats.
It was certainly challenging, but an enjoyable journey, with lots of good memories.
Having lost many loved ones to cancer, my lovely sister Carmina, Claire's dad Ray, our dear friend Natalie, Claire's nan Joyce and many others, I have seen positive work by both Cancer Research UK and St Luke's Hospice Basildon and feel it is important to keep supporting them.
There are also many other friends and family who have had or are going through the fight against Cancer.
I have sincere respect to all these people and many others who's lives have been affected by this and any other serious illness.
Both of these charities are very close to my heart, having seen the work they do and the difference they make.
