We have joined together to raise money for ‘Cancer Research’ and ‘Rowcroft Hospice’ charities and will be fundraising in a variety of ways in memory of Jackie - my Mum.
Jackie was a much-loved daughter, sister, mum nanny, auntie, and friend. She sadly died of cancer in Rowcroft Hospice far too early in her own lives and the lives of those who loved her. As a family we will always feel the loss of Jackie, but the team are using our fundraising as a positive goal to focus on and to remember the warmth, humour, support and love that Jackie brought to our lives. ♥
'Rowcroft provides free specialist and tailored end of life care, whilst looking after families and carers. This care is provided in a multitude of ways from the point of diagnosis and continues until a bereaved family no longer feel the need for Rowcroft’s support. Whether a patient visits our inpatient ward or cared for by Rowcroft’s various community services, there is one aim to the work of the hospice; to ensure everyone receives the highest quality care and make every precious moment count'.
