Andrew and I are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats between 5th June and the 23rd June (hopefully!).. partly for charity, and let's be honest.. partly because it's our 40th birthday year..!

Andrew is at the back in the photo.. he's not very photogenic at all, and is always better replaced by his fiance Maggie (front-right in the photo).
I am still not very photogenic, but the glare off my fat balding head tends to dull the ugliness effect sufficiently..!
We are cycling for two charities which are both close to my heart.. firstly is AMMF, which is a charity which supports and conducts research into cholangiocarcinoma cancer that my great friend Andy Staff passed away from about 6 years ago, and secondly is Unique, which is a rare chromosome disorder charity which has helped my young nephew Toby, who is missing 46XY del 10(23.2q24.1q), in case you were wondering..!... which gives him give him various problems, including skeletal and communication issues, but ultimately he's soooo damned cute that if you don't give money you're utterly heartless and a horrible person (not really.. but he really is very very very very cute..!)
Ideally, both charities would receive half the money raised, so if you see one charity behind and don't have a preference for which one to donate to, please do try to even it up, but I fully understand that people will have preferences, so that's okay as well.
