In loving memory of Solomon Baker
On October 20th 2010, Simon and his wife, Chloe, lost their firstborn son Solomon at birth, which inflicted enough hurt and questions to last a lifetime. But they are not the only ones - every day in the UK 17 babies are born sleeping. They feel this number is far too high, which is why they are supporting Sands (Stillbirth and neonatal death charity) to help lower this figure and continue to provide other couples with the same invaluable support that they received in their time of need. This support was matched only by the excellent care recieved at Yeovil District Hospital so they are also supporting the Flying Colours for Yeovil Women's Hospital to help create an environment that reflects the personal service delivered by the staff.
Ross and Simon have come up with a challenge worthy of your generosity! They will run 5 ultramarathons in 5 consecutive days from the North to the South of Wales. This is 230 miles, meaning an average of 46 miles per day.
So please dig deep and help support this event to help remember Solomon in a way that will have a positive impact on other people's lives. With much love and thanks!
