Peter 'badblood' Wilson, Paul 'basketcase' Simpson and Robert 'Bobby Tenjobs' Bell
We've joined together to raised money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal
Peter and Bobby are supporting The Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity www.pkdcharity.org.uk to helkp them raise money to fund research into preventing and curing this disease.
Peter suffers from Polycycstic Kidney Disease which is the worlds’ most common inherited life threatening disease.
It causes kidney failure which then requires dialysis.
It also means that you will eventually need a kidney transplant if you are lucky enough to get one which Peter did in January 2011.
Paul is supporting Bauer Radios Cash for Kids charity https://www.cashforkidsdashboard.co.uk/ that supports ill and underprivileged children around the country.
We are passionate about supporting these charities and while we are doing it raise awareness of the Organ Donation campaign which encourages others to sign the Organ Donor register, hence we are planning to hold the event w/c 08 July 2013 which is around the time that National Transplant week is held.
To raise money for these great causes we are going to be riding the 7 Stanes in 7 Days in the Scottish Borders. This is an off road challenge riding the 7 Scottish mountain bike trail centres of Ae, Dalbeattie,Glentress & Innerleithen, Glentrool,Kirroughtree, Mabie andNewcastleton
We are training very hard and have a steadily increasing following on both Facebook and Twitter.
