We are raising money for UK police treatment centres by cycling the Caledonia Etape, an 81 mile cycle around Pitlochry in Scotland on 15 May 2011 http://www.etapecaledonia.co.uk/.
Every year thousands of police officers suffer injuries or experience serious illnesses. The centres offer a range of treatments designed to get officers back to fitness, speeding up their return to work in protecting their communities.
The team members are John Laing and John Kerr, serving police officers who have benefited from the centres help with injuries during their careers, and Mark McCabe who works for the police inspectorate in Scotland and is doing this demanding event in recognition of the work that police officers do for their local communities.
