We've joined together to raise money for Darul Fadilah in Rafah, Gaza. Darul Fadilah was an amazing building comprising a shcool, orphanage, masjid, medical centre, training centre and library, until it was hit by 7 missiles in January 2009.
After hearing about Darul Fadilah at a charity dinner in Walthamstow, London, a group of volunteers formed a fundraising team called Ummah United, and over the last two years, have been staging many events and charity challenges to help raise the £2.5million needed to rebuild Darul Fadilah. We've held family fairs, trekked to Everest Base Camp, climbed Mount Snowdon and in our latest adventure will be cycling the Coast to Coast bike route from the Atlantic Ocean to the North Sea. Please visit one of our fundraising pages (or even ALL of them!) and make a donation which will help us reach our targets, but more importantly will help us rebuild Darul Fadilah, bigger and better than before!
