We are competing in the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge. A 427km, 6 day race. Check it out at
Day 1: Prologue (Triathlon) plus 30km Kayak stage
Day 2: 80km Kayak
Day 3 and 4: 120km foot race in the Empty Quarter
Day 5: 90km Cycle in LIWA
Day 6: Climb Jebel Hafeet (tallest mountain in UAE) Finish in Al Ain
We hope to raise AED 60,000/ GBP 10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food.
Average life expectancy for a sufferer is 35 years.
