Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. We believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving our vision

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Well, the 4 of us have decided that the cycle ride to Amsterdam was not quite a  big enough challenge so we have upped the ante!!!

On the 19th November us 4 crazy Coors Employees will set out on a 500 km journey across the Sinai desert in Egypt over a 5 day period.  We are putting ourselves through this extremely tough test in order to raise money for Mencap.

Having never done anything like this before in our lives it will certainly be a real challenge!!

A learning disability is the most common form of disability today. Every week approximately 200 babies are born with a learning disability. The money raised will help Mencap support people with a learning disability at every stage of their life.

Fundraising enables Mencap to support people with a learning disability to aim high and achieve the things that most of us take for granted. With your help we can really make a difference.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mencap will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Thank you so much to everyone who supports us in this quest!!
