On 12 July 2008, six fit and talented young individuals (don't laugh!!) will boldly go where no-one has gone before.... well, no-one sane anyway! "THE 6PACK", named not for our physique but more the love of alcohol (and because there are 6 of us) are about to embark on the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, Scotland's toughest 1 day event which involves swimming, running / walking, kayaking and cycling over 58 miles of some of Scotland's most gruelling (and breathtaking... literally) countryside. (www.artemisgreatkindrochit.com) WHY - To raise money for the Mercy Corps in Nepal, the poorest county in Asia and the 12th poorest in the world where nearly half of the population of 23 million must survive on less than $1 per day. The money raised from this event will go towards the Cardamom Project and the Disaster Risk Reduction Project which will both make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of vulnerable people. PLEASE SPONSOR US & BE GENEROUS! Sponsoring us online though this site is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor with Mercy Corps receiving your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax is added to your donation at no cost to you.
