Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This page has been set up as a 2010 "team" challenge for friends and family. Our aim is to raise £10,000 in 2010 for Cancer Research UK. To achieve this level of fundraising, it's going to require us all to take on personal challenges, do things we wouldn't normally do, push our fitness and stamina levels to the limit. It's about making personal sacrifices to achieve our goals. For some, that will be getting round their first half-marathon. For others, it will be doing record times in triathlons or climbing mountains.
Why are we doing this?
Because we recognise the amazing strength and determination that Sam showed during her illness. Despite going through a hugely difficult time during radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment, she showed us all what real determination is - never complaining and maintaining that wicked sense of humour.
I want us to make a difference to other people's lives, who are affected by cancer, because that's what Sam would want us to do.
For those doing an event - please update this with your challenge so those visiting the site can see what we are raising money for.
If you are visiting the site to donate money - thank you very much for your generous support. I appreciate every penny and you know it's going to make a difference to a very good cause.
Best Wishes and Good Luck,
Neil
