The Quilter Foundation was set up in 2017 to support the many thousands of young people in our communities who live with daily social and domestic challenges, helping them to overcome barriers to prosperity. We do this by funding projects that improve educational outcomes, employment prospects and health and wellbeing.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Team Swindon JustGiving page.

We are team of Quilter Financial Planning staff from the Swindon office that  have decided to embark on a running challenge in support of the Quilter Foundation.  We will be running a variety of distances based on our differing levels of fitness with objective of covering a combined distance of 100km.

The Quilter Foundation was launched in 2018 to support the many thousands of young people in our communities who live with daily social and domestic challenges; helping them to overcome barriers to prosperity. We do this by building partnerships that improve educational outcomes, employment prospects and individual health and well-being.

All funds raised will be donated to our principle partner for the next 3 years – Carers Trust – to provide immediate relief and personal development opportunities for young carers, aged 16-25, in our communities. Today, there are an estimated 700,000 young carers
in the UK looking after loved ones with disabilities, long-term illnesses,
mental health issues or addiction problems. Because of their caring duties, young carers often feel isolated, anxious and depressed. Working in partnership with Carers Trust our campaign will give young carers the chance of a brighter
future.
