We are taking part in the Landy Rally 2007 in September.  Up to 100 teams in their Land Rovers, covering 8 European countries in 7 days - 2300 miles!  We are travelling in our 1993 Discovery 200 Tdi.  The rally is non-speed event and we'll be travelling mainly on-road, with some gentle off-roading on the normally closed pistes at Val d'Isere and on remote tracks in the French and Spanish Pyrennes.  See our website for more details and progress reports: www.freewebs.com/tntlandyrallyteam

It is widely accepted that 5% of children under the age of five will go through a phase of stammering (that's around 188,000 pre-school age children in Britain)
Up to a quarter of these children are at serious risk of developing chronic stammering which may persist into adulthood without intervention during the pre-school years.
In the under fives twice as many boys stammer as girls. 

The BSA provide information and support to people who stammer, their parents/carers, teachers and other professionals.  They also hold conferences and raise awareness, e.g. of the importance of early intervention through the pre-school dysfluency project.  As a speech and language therapist (Lu), I have found their leaflets and information invaluable, whilst working with young children and their families.  Please help us to support them.

Well we did it!  Boy was that a long way - leaving early each morning and usually putting the tent up in the dark!  But what an experience - fantastic people and scenery!  Need to sleep for a week!
