Hi we are the proud parents of Zoe Garrett. Zoe was diagnosed with cancer when she was 13 years of age. This is Zoe with her mother Heather and her beloved grandmother Mary. We are so indebted to the various cancer charities, particularly clicsargent which allowed us to stay in their accommodation while Zoe was going through operations and beginning chemo.
We just want to give something back. Some kids don't make it and some do. We are aware of both situations and are doing this for the next kids coming through.
Zoe was a brave kid and thought of others. We are proud to be her parents, we are priviledged to have met other brave kids and families. We are just thankful to God for bringing us through and out the other end. We could'nt have made it without him. We are also so grateful to the ordinary people around us who had dinners waiting for us when we came home from a long day at chemo in the Royal Victoria Hospital. We are doing this because together because we can make a difference.
